Player 1 and Player 2 share one keyboard — each has their own set of keys.

In Solo vs CPU, Player 1's controls fight a computer-controlled rival — great for practicing combos alone. In PvP, fight your co-player. In PvE Co-op, join forces against waves of enemies — if a cat runs out of lives it respawns after a few seconds, but if you both go down at once, the run ends. Press Esc anytime to pause.

Attack is a 3-hit combo — hit it three times in a row (within about three-quarters of a second of each landed hit) for hit 1 → hit 2 → a Finisher with extra damage, extra knockback, and a stun that keeps your target from acting. Wait too long between hits and the combo resets to hit 1.

Your Special key does more than throw a hairball — it reads the situation, Smash-Bros style:
🐾 Standing still → Hairball (ranged shot)
🏃 Moving → Dash Claw (fast forward lunge that hits anything in your path)
🦘 In the air → Ground Pound (slam down and shockwave everything nearby on landing)
⭐ Meter full → FINAL SMASH! (a huge area attack plus a burst of hairballs in every direction)
Your special meter (shown under your health bar) fills as you deal and take damage — so a losing cat can always fight back with a comeback Final Smash.
